what does Guitar Hero III Glow buttons on screen do or what are they for?
Ok so i got Guitar Hero III at midnight at best buy last night. as i was playing I and my husband picked up that some Colored buttons on certain songs would look flat on top and have what seemed to be a glowing effect to it and seems annoying/distracting. Does anyone know what this is for? is it a glitch in the game or does it really mean something that is new? Please any help would be thankful

If you get all the ones that are glowing in a row without messing up you get star power. Which will allow you to get X2 points after you fill the bar up halfway and then tilt the guitar upward.
It’s either one of two things. Star power buttons.. if they have stars on them.
Or a hammer on or a pull off, if the button has the little white glowing ring in the center, instead of the black ring. I didn’t really like or understand the hammer ons and pull offs at first, but they are actually pretty cool. If that’s what the thing is that you’re talking about, then here’s a way to make ‘em less complicated:
When you come across a set of them, strum the first button as normal, and then for the next following buttons, just slide your finger to the next colors without strumming. ‘Cause you don’t need to strum those ones if you’ve strummed the first one in the set. It’s a lot easier than trying to quickling strum each one lol.
Anyway, hope that helps. If that’s not what’s wrong, good luck! Maybe you can take it back to best buy and have them put that disc in one of their systems and show them what’s going on.
