How do I connect a Guitar Hero III PS3 controller with Rock Band?

I can’t seem to get it to work. Every time, it registers the guitar as a regular controller for the microphone instead of a guitar.

Am I doing something wrong?

    It wont work. Sorry doll. X-Box magazine did a story on it and apperantly red octane , the makers of guitar hero, didnt feel that they wanted their controller to interface with rockband. HOWEVER, rockband controllers will work with guitar hero….just a thought….
