Does the RockBand controller work for the XBOX 360 Guitar Hero III?

and that guy used the rockband controller to tap the intro to: Through the Fire and Flames. And that song is on guitar hero III. So i became curious if i could use the rockband guitar for my xbox 360 with guitar hero III. And if i can, is it worth using it, or is the original guitar better?

    no you can’t because the game won’t recognize the guitar since they are different but it would be awesome if you could

    No you cant use rock band controller on guitar hero but u can use guitar hero for rockband…
