Does the guitar hero III game need a receiver that plugs into the front of PlayStation?
I just bought the new guitar hero III combo for PS2 off of ebay which includes the game and the guitar. And what I wanna know is does the guitar need a receiver that plugs into the front of the playstation?? Because it did not come with no receiver and if I don’t need a receiver how do I get the game to work…

I use ps2 ddr pads for stepmania on my computer. I use a ps2 to usb adapter, but the Guitar hero won’t recognize the PS2 guitar using the same adapter. Do I need some keyboard mulator to joystick software or anything like that?
